We've finally moved to our new host. This saga has been going on since December, when I purchased hosting services from Readyhosting. They set everything up instantly, but I couldn't get Network Solutions to let me change my nameserver entries. This was finally resolved last week, and, after about 48 hours of uncertainty, we are now up and running.

Please report any persistant problems to me.

The James Caird, Shackleton's boat, is on display at Dulwich College, alongside a great temporary exhibit of Shackleton-related items. We visited on Saturday. My favourite Shackleton quote is "A man must shape himself to a new mark immediately the old one goes to ground," which he said when the Endurance sank, and he and his 27 men had to move out onto the ice. I suspect that many other men would simply have said "shoot me now."
